jWhat People Are Saying
I have experienced grace, life-giving wisdom, much needed stillness and space, and the freedom to reflect on the Spirit's work. Your willingness to listen to the Spirit and to wait on his timing has been a wonderful example to me. You have a way of embracing people with gentleness and warmth that allows us to just be! ~ Michelle
I always feel encouraged when I meet with you.
Our conversations are engaging. You Challenge me. I wish I knew a word for someone who looks past all of the glaring faults in others and focuses on the best possible traits, even if the traits are faint or potential. How about honest-loving-optimism? Our world needs more people who will search hard to find the best in others, we have an abundance of people who search hard to find the worst in others. ~ Steve
My times with Nancy were always bringing my attention, my focus, my entire life back to the Lord. No matter what we were discussing, no matter how far from God I felt, you always had a way refocusing my thoughts and bringing me back to what mattered most - Jesus. We always prayed, always read scripture, and always talked about the Lord, no matter the subject, it always came back to Him. You taught me how to seek Jesus all the time, in all things. And you still do. I hear your voice reminding me when the days are hard-- seek His face. Thank you my friend, my pastor, my counselor, my mentor. ~ Kimberly
In our times together I have experienced a space where I feel known and valued. I have also experienced companionship for the journey that I am on. I experienced a genuine sense of joy and excitement for my shared experiences as well as compassion for my trials. I have received encouragement, compassion, clarity, and honesty. I also experienced you as attentive. You read my face, my sighs. I learned how to discern the “shoulds” from the “wants” with you. You were not afraid to tell me what you thought, what you experienced, or what you believed (or did not believe). ~ Tracey
Nancy has an authentic and deep desire to know what God is really up to and be involved in facilitating, like a midwife, a vision for what that might be. She aims under the surface and names names. She is fearless in her capacity for taking a decisive posture toward anything she feels is hindering a deeper spiritual life. ~ Susan
